Murray County Schools personnel moves

Personnel moves approved this week by the Murray County Board of Education:

Substitutes

• Jackie Bowen, substitute bus driver

• Christine Wakefield, substitute bus driver

Additional duty

• Murray County High School math teacher (to be determined): Extended day pay to cover the math vacancy at Mountain Creek Academy created by Hugh Pritchett’s resignation. The individual who volunteers will teach two periods at MCHS/Ninth Grade Academy and two periods at Mountain Creek. Compensation is an additional 1/8 of state base prorated for the number of instructional days.

• Brent Bagley, teacher, Murray County High School/Ninth Grade Academy, resignation effective the end of the 2008-2009 school year

• Brenda Gail Goble, custodian, Chatsworth Elementary School, resignation effective Oct. 20, 2008

• Gary L. Bowen, bus driver, resignation effective Oct. 20, 2008

• Eric Pearson, chief information officer, technology, resignation effective Oct. 31, 2008

• Hugh Pritchett, math teacher, Mountain Creek Academy, resignation/release from contract, Nov. 3, 2008

• Sonja Ross, bus driver, resignation effective Oct. 6, 2008
