Nance and Lamb win title at DGCC Spring Shoot Out

Mike Nance and Hal Lamb shot an 8-under par 64 on Sunday in the final round of the 2008 Spring Shoot Out at Dalton Golf and Country Club to win the championship flight title of the two-day event by four strokes.

Nance and Lamb overtook first-day leaders Matt Oxford and Matt Hensen, who held a one-stroke edge after the opening round, to win the title. Oxford and Hensen followed an opening 67 with a 69 to finish at 6-under par 136.

Nance and Lamb finished at 132, while the teams of Howell Kerr and Joe Markham, Dylan Coffey and Chase Miller, and Andrew Miller and Clay Miller tied for third at 137.
