Smith,

Jolly

Deana Ensley Smith of Dalton and William Derek Jolly of Villanow, Ga., were united in marriage on June 20, 2009, at Rock Bridge Community Church. The 2 o’clock ceremony was officiated by Matt Evans, pastor of the church.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe McMillan, and the late Ronald Ensley of Dalton. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Jolly, also of Dalton.

The program of Christian music was provided by Greta and Jeremy Owens. She played the keyboard, and he played the guitar. They both sang.

Given in marriage by her family and escorted by her brothers, Doug Ensley and Damon Ensley, both of Dalton, the bride wore an ivory chiffon split-front A-line gown. It featured a pleated surplice bodice with a silver and antique hand-beaded empire waist. It had a strapless sweetheart neckline. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of beautiful blue hydrangeas and white roses tied with chocolate satin ribbon.

The church was decorated with blue hydrangeas, white roses and chocolate satin ribbon. The flowers and ribbon covered an arbor which was flanked by candelabras and pew markers, which were illuminated by candlelight.

The matron of honor was Leigh Sampson Price of Greenville, S.C., friend of the bride. She wore a chocolate silk shantung cocktail dress accented with a ruffled collar.

The flower girl was Julia Jade Smith, daughter of the bride. She wore an ivory silk organza dress, tied with a brown satin sash at the waist.

The best man was Wilson Perkins of Charleston, S.C. The ring bearer was Thomas Dylan Jolly, son of the groom.

Amy Sampson of Dalton served as the wedding director.

Following the wedding ceremony, the reception was held at nearby Trevitt Hall.

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Jolly, parents of the groom, honored the bridal couple with a casual dinner on the eve of the wedding for members of the wedding party and family at the home of David and Karen Jolly, also of Dalton.

The couple traveled to Costa Rica for their honeymoon. They reside in Villanow, Ga.
