DALTON (AP) — A jury Tuesday sentenced a former 911 dispatcher to life without parole for the 2001 antifreeze poisoning death of her firefighter boyfriend, the father of her two children.
Lynn Turner had faced a possible death sentence.
Turner did not testify on her own behalf during her sentencing hearing on Monday, and prosecutors called no witnesses. Her mother, Helen Gregory, tearfully pleaded with jurors for Turner’s life.
