Voices Won will host anniversary singing Nov. 13-14

Voices Won ministries will host it 8th Anniversary Singing Nov. 13-14 at 7 p.m. at Ryman Hall, 2203 South Dixie Highway (U.S. Highway 41) south of Dalton.

Voices Won, a Georgia non-profit (501-C-3), includes brothers Jaron, Shantell and Staclynn Faulknor. The brothers call Catoosa, Whitfield and Murray counties home.

“We’re very excited about this singing,” Jaron said. “We will have wonderful Christian music and fellowship. Our main goal is to see folks blessed. Definitely when we step on stage we want our love of God to be first. We want to be professional and sing the parts correctly but we want the love of the Lord to come through.”

Crossroads Entertainment released their latest CD “Something for Everyone” blending a Southern gospel sound with progressive arrangements that share a solid gospel message.

Appearing on Friday night is Voices Won and Crist Family

“We are excited to have the Crist Family this year,” Jaron said. “They have an incredible story of faith. The Family also won the 2009 Singing News Fan Awards Horizon Group of the Year.”

Saturday night’s event will feature Karen Peck and New River, Mark Bishop and Voices Won.

“Mark has been to all of our anniversary sings,” he said. “He never fails to connect with the crowd and folks are always blessed. Karen and group will have a brand new recording with them. Everybody should be sure and congratulate Karen on Saturday night for being voted the first female president of the Southern Gospel Music Association (SGMA).”

Dinner and concessions will be available nightly.

“Our mother Regina is in charge of the food again this year, so come early,” he said.

Doors will open at 5:30 and singing starts at 7 p.m. Advance tickets nightly $10 or two days for $15. Admission at the door is $12. For more information (706) 218-8691 or www.voiceswon.com.
