Vacation Bible School

• Eton Baptist Church — July 5-9 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. There will be singing, learning, food, crafts and fun.

• First Christian Church — July 6-11 from 7 to 9 p.m. The theme is “God’s Big Backyard.” Classes are available for ages preschool through high school. Registration begins July 6 at 6 p.m. The church is at 1506 Dug Gap Road in Dalton. For more information, call (706) 278-7244.

• Lindsey Memorial Baptist Church — July 13-18. Sunday times are from 6 to 8:30 p.m., and Monday through Friday time is 6:30 to 9 p.m. Friday night is Family Night and will feature a big luau party with contests, giveaways and food. Kickoff will be held July 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. with inflatables, registration, food and fun. A VBS preview will be held June 14 from 1 to 4 p.m. There will be skits, games, island food and recreation and crafts. Open to children ages birth to teens.
