Area Arrests for March 18

— • Carol Hunter Elrod, 46, 2107 Chattanooga Road, Room 232, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI and open container of alcohol in vehicle.
• Alisa Gail Wimberly, 35, 224 Smyrna Circle, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with improper tag, obstruction of an officer, drug possession, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and a turning violation.
• Janet Michelle Blansit, 33, 76 Maple Drive, Rossville, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with identity theft, theft by taking and first degree forgery.
• Stephen Anthony Carroll, 33, 780 Maple Grove Church Road, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of methamphetamine, DUI and a tail light violation.
• Jacob Adam Pittman, 19, 1515 Houston Valley Road, Ringgold, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of tools for the commission of a crime, driving with a learner’s permit without a licensed driver in the vehicle, open container of alcohol in the vehicle, failure to drive within a single lane, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and DUI.
• Stephen Avery Rogers, 34, 2512 Maddox Chapel Road, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of methamphetamine, illegal possession of prescription drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
