Area Arrests for March 24



• Ricardo Castorena, 48, 661 Richardson St., Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, driving without headlights, giving false information and forgery in first degree.

• Daniel Freeman Crowe, 57, 1116 Willowdale Road, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with a tail light violation, DUI and open container of alcohol.

• Paul Eugene Hall, 71, 307 Lakeview Drive, Chatsworth, was charged Saturday by the Chatsworth Police Department with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• Lawrence Spencer Purvis, 17, 111 Westwood Circle, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with obstruction of a law enforcement officer and terroristic threats and acts (family violence).

• Eduardo Celdedon Alvarado, 20, 1109 Roan St., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with failure to maintain lane, underage consumption, DUI, forgery in the second degree and possession of cocaine.

• Armando Nunez Contreras, 26, 824 Fifth Ave., Apartment 2, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with loitering, obstruction of a law enforcement officer, fighting in a public place, aggravated assault, carrying a deadly weapon at a public gathering, street gangs act, criminal damage to property in the first degree and criminal trespass.

• Victor Manuel Ferreras, 29, 1104 Walston St., Apartment C-107, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated assault (family violence) and interference with a 911 call (family violence).

• Eleazar Martinez Garcia, 32, 1615 Orchard Knob Ave., Chattanooga, Tenn., was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, failure to maintain lane and failure to obey a traffic control device.

• Jorge Antonio Osuna-Lara, 39, 508 Central Ave., Apartment 8, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with failure to yield while making a turn and DUI.
