Another charge added to suspected bank robber

By Kim Sloan
Dalton Daily Citizen

A Chatsworth man charged with robbing banks in Chatsworth and Fort Oglethorpe is now accused of robbing a Calhoun credit union on March 20.

Wednesday morning, a teller from Lockheed Credit Union identified Brian Scott Terry, 31, of 619 Sourwood Lane, as the person who robbed her from a photo lineup, according to officials with the Calhoun Police Department. Terry is charged with robbery by intimidation.

Terry faces three counts of armed robbery in connection with bank holdups in Chatsworth and Fort Oglethorpe. He is also a suspect in bank robberies in Dalton and East Ridge, Tenn., officials said.

In each of the robberies, Terry handed the teller a note demanding money, according to reports. While he claimed to have a gun, he never showed one.

He remains in the Murray County Jail without bond.
