Area Arrests

• Darrell Leroy Fowler, 30, 1055 Davenport Road, Chatsworth, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with driving while license withdrawn, failure to yield to emergency vehicle, driving on the wrong side of the road, theft by receiving stolen property (motor vehicle), failure to stop for stop sign, improper passing, improper passing on hill, reckless driving, seat belt violation, obstruction of an officer, hit and run, no insurance and speeding.

• Eric Lamar Gilbert, 33, 4031 Nottingham Drive, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with first degree forgery and failure to appear.

• John David Wimpey, 36, 4110 Cleveland Highway, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Varnell Police Department with probation violation and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

• Brittney Daniel Corriher, 17, 1008 Ponderosa Lane, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Santez Fernando Crowder, 24, 1320 Murray Ave., apartment 216, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Adolfo Nieto, 18, no address given, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Tommy Troy Parsons, 61, 215 Hewitt Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, failure to maintain lane and seat belt violation.

• William Johnny Paul II, 31, 612 White Path Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with failure to maintain lane, DUI, driving while license withdrawn and one-way street violation.

• Justin Matthew Raulston, 19, 701 Morningside Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
