— • Javier Aguilar, 25, 639 McCharles St., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with driving without a license (second offense), DUI and failure to maintain lane.
• Tammy Lejuan Morgan, 44, 171 Newberry Drive, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
• Valorie Leanne Richmond, 25, 1259 New Zion Hill Road, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with battery (family violence) and first degree cruelty to children.
• Bobby Joe Stephens, 53, 410 Jesse St., apartment 5, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
• Gregory David Stephens, 40, 99 Lowery Road, Freeport, Fla., was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated assault, kidnapping and false imprisonment (all family violence charges).
• Gary Charles Thornton, 39, 317 Rollins Lane, Resaca, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with bench warrant (two counts), possession of firearms by a convicted felon, guard line violation, driving while license withdrawn, DUI (drugs), too fast for conditions, duty upon striking a fixture, no insurance, failure to maintain lane, license plate deception and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
• Jon Todd Battles, 37, 300 N. Fifth Ave., Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Chatsworth Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
• Jessica Marie Peeples, 21, 380 S. Second Ave., Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
• Lee Ann Wilkerson, 48, 300 N. Fifth Ave., Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Chatsworth Police Department with possession of meth and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
