Emergency preparedness training offered

The North Georgia Medical Reserve Corps will present volunteer orientation/emergency preparedness training in Dalton on Tuesday at 6 p.m. The training is open to the public.

The training will be in the downstairs conference room of the North Georgia Health District in Bry-Man’s Plaza North, 100 W. Walnut Ave.

Topics will include:

• Where do folks go during a disease outbreak when they need medication fast?

• Who is responsible for getting needed medications to you and your community?

• What is the best way to prepare your family for an emergency?

• How can you can help in the event of a public health emergency?
