Volunteer vacation applications due Thursday

The United Way of Northwest Georgia will host Volunteer Vacation Summer Session on June 22-24. The camp encourages youth to “Live United” by participating in volunteer service projects and creating community awareness.
Youth ages 14-18 will be volunteering with several human service organizations in the county. These agencies include the Summer Feeding Program at Chatsworth First United Methodist Church, Boys and Girls Club, Georgia Mountains Health, Keep Chatsworth-Murray Beautiful and the Murray County Red Cross.
Volunteer Vacation is a healthy, fun and rewarding opportunity for youth to make a difference in the community. Applications are due Thursday.
