Soul Food is a free dinner ministry of First Baptist Church of Dalton serving all in the community who need a hot, nutritious meal. The church will offer this event today in the fellowship hall on the corner of Waugh Street and Thornton Avenue.

The Highland Rivers Community Service Board will meet this morning at 10 in the Harris Arts Center at 212 S. Wall St. in Calhoun. The meeting is open to the public. The Executive, Finance and Corporate Compliance Committees will meet at 9 a.m.

Highland Rivers Center offers treatment and support services for adults and children affected by mental health disorders, developmental disabilities and addictive diseases.
