Mrs. Elizabeth C. McKenzie

Mrs. Elizabeth C. McKenzie, 77, of Roswell, died June 28, 2008 surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her husband, Benjamin R. McKenzie; two daughters, Mrs. Donna Petrel of Jerusalem, Israel, and Mrs. Jennifer Mothorp of Snellville; one son, Benjamin R. McKenzie Jr. of Rydal; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was a loving and devoted wife and mother of nearly 58 years. Mrs. McKenzie was a member of the Northbrook United Methodist Church and the Naomi Circle. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and was active in the Senior Enriched Living organization of Roswell/Alpharetta as a noted woodcarver of exquisite designs.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Northside Chapel on Crabapple Road in Roswell with Rev. Jody Alderman officiating.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, donations may be made to the Cancer Society. The family will receive friends and visitors one hour prior to the service.
