Area Arrests for July 20

• Chris Anderson, 600 College Drive, Apartment G-8, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI.

• Richard Lamar Betterton, 48, 936 Ridgeview Lane, Chatsworth, was charged Friday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with child molestation and aggravated sexual battery.

• Sharon Herrera, 19, 1238-A Riverbend Road, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with financial transaction card fraud and theft of lost or mislaid property.

• Cory Tremayne Holland, 31, 2800 Maddox Chapel Road, Apartment 7, with possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute.

• Thelina Stamey Lawson, 38, 712 W. Tyler St., No. 105, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with aggravated assault.

• Barbara Elaine Ryals, 53, 2542 Cool Springs Road, Chatsworth, was charged Friday by the Chatsworth Police Department with the DUI and failure to drive within a single lane.

• Adrian Melecio Trinidad, 32, 246 Electra Blvd., Chatsworth, was charged Friday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of methamphetamine, theft by receiving stolen property and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Jamie Cleveland Davenport, 20, 4100 Old Federal N., Chatsworth was charged Saturday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, underage consumption, reckless driving, no insurance and driving with suspended or revoked registration.

• Javier Igelsias-Medina, 28, 792 Bermuda St., Apartment J-4, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with driving without a license, littering, DUI, loud music, open container of alcohol, failure to drive within a single lane and possession of cocaine.

• Douglas Lamar Phillips, 21, 2639 Landfill Road, Rocky Face, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI.
