Submitted by Northwest Georgia Society for Human Resource Management Chapter

Northwest Georgia Society for Human Resource Management Chapter has teamed up with Northwest Georgia Family Crisis Center, an agency of the United Way of Northwest Georgia, to help more than 150 children with school supplies in Whitfield, Murray and Gordon counties.

Any donations would be helpful. Cash donations can be made to the Northwest Georgia SHRM and sent to Alliance National Bank, P.O. Box 607, Dalton, GA, 30722-0607, Attn: Patty H. Mooney.

Here is a list of needed items: Backpacks, dividers, notebook paper, crayons, markers, rulers, colored pencils, folders, binders, erasers, glue, spiral notebooks, glue sticks, protractors, scissors, pencil sharpeners and graph paper (middle school only). Pens have been donated by Dan Combs State Farm Insurance and No. 2 pencils have been donated by Rhett Orr Allstate Insurance.

Items can be dropped off at Signs Graphics Printing at 265 Kraft Drive in Dalton. To schedule a pickup, call Jamie Kennedy at (706) 278-1970.
