Three killed in car wreck

CHATSWORTH — Two adults and a child were killed in a one vehicle wreck on Monday morning at Highway 286 and McCamy Road in west Murray County, said an operator with the Georgia State Patrol.

Enedino Arebalo, 36; and Brenda Rodriguez, 9; died in the wreck.

A 25-year-old Hispanic male also died in the wreck. His name had not been released by officials.

The driver was traveling west on Highway 286 around 11 a.m. when he lost control and overcorrected, the operator said. Two passengers were ejected.

Alcohol is not a factor, though speed is, the operator said.

Two other passengers were injured, one was transported to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga and the other to Murray Medical Center.

No charges will be filed because the driver was one of the people killed.
