Daily Citizen to offer Atlanta Journal-Constitution in area

Beginning next Sunday The Daily Citizen will begin delivering the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Sunday edition to approximately 40 sites, including more than 30 in Whitfield County.
The AJC will sell for its usual $2 cover price.
“The Daily Citizen sees the Journal-Constitution as a news staple for residents of Northwest Georgia,” said William Bronson, publisher of The Daily Citizen. “Its state and national-oriented contents complement our local coverage in The Daily Citizen.”
“We are still finalizing site locations, but hope to make the AJC available conveniently to as many customers as possible.’’
Sites in the area where newspaper racks can be found for the Sunday Atlanta Journal-Constitution beginning Sept. 14 include:
Whitfield County
Chevron at Carbondale exit, and along Walnut Avenue at Cracker Barrel, McDonald’s, Kroger, Burger King, Shoney’s, Pal’s Car Wash; downtown at Chef Lin, The Daily Citizen, Dalton post office, Oakwood Cafe, Hardees and Conoco.
Walnut Square Mall: Goodys and CVS.
Cleveland Highway: Kmart, Shoney’s, Bi-Lo and Butchers Market.
Varnell: Food Lion, Burger Den and Harry’s.
Tunnel Hill: Shop Rite and Movie Gallery.
Rocky Face: Food Lion, post office, Burger Den and The Farm.
Other locations include the BP at Tibbs Road and U.S. Highway 41, Waffle House at Shugart Road and North Bypass.
