Three Whitfield County men charged with theft in Tennessee

Three Whitfield County men are accused of breaking into a Cleveland, Tenn., business and stealing more than $5,000 worth of musical instruments and amplifiers, Bradley County, Tenn., sheriff’s officials said.
Myles Patrick Burke, 19, of Cohutta; Jonathan Alan Hammontree, 19, of Cohutta; and David Brent Jackson, 19, of Dalton, are charged with theft over $1,000 and burglary. They are accused of breaking into the Boogie Barn on Weatherly Switch Trail, according to a news release from the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office. The theft was discovered Thursday, according to Bob Gault, spokesman for the sheriff’s office.
A fourth man, Joshua Edward Lay, 28, of Dalton, is charged with accessory after the fact to burglary. He helped sell the stolen property, Gault said.
All four are free on bond. Phone listings for them could not be found.
