Published September 19, 2008 11:23 am - Home buying seminar in Chatsworth Saturday The Murray County office of the Dalton-Whitfield Community Development Corp. will sponsor a one-day home buying seminar on Saturday in the conference room of the Murray County Recreation Department on Hyden Tyler Road from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The seminar is for first-time home buyers and those who have purchased a home in the past.
Qualified applicants may also be able to access funds from a Community Home Investment Program (CHIP) grant toward the purchase of a home. Lunch is provided and the seminar is free. Those wanting to attend must pre-register. For more information or to register call Belle Anne Butler at (706) 876-1630.
