CHATSWORTH — A Chatsworth woman remained in a Chattanooga hospital Monday after a collision on Sunday between a motorcycle and a Chevy Blazer that killed a Chatsworth man, a Georgia State Patrol operator said.

Scottie Sexton, 36, died Sunday. Sexton and 38-year-old Amanda Wilson were airlifted to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, the operator said. Sexton was driving a motorcycle that collided with a Chevy Blazer at the intersection of Ga. 225 and Mount Carmel Church Road at about 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Sexton was traveling south on Ga. 225 with Wilson as his passenger, the operator said. Chickamauga resident Robert Bolton, 30, was traveling west in a Chevy Blazer on Mount Carmel Church Road. He failed to yield and pulled the Blazer into the motorcycle’s path, the operator said.

The Georgia State Patrol’s Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team is investigating. Charges against Bolton will be considered after the investigation is complete, the operator said.
