Area arrests for Oct. 4

• Ricky Eugene Allen, 45, 142 Southern Road, Chatsworth, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by deception and financial transaction card fraud.

• Heather Leighann Beavers, 35, 507 Stone St., Dalton, was charged Friday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI.

• Tarina Marie Burke, 1741 Loving Road, Morganton, was charged Friday by the Georgia State Patrol with giving false information or false name, driving while license is suspended or revoked, speeding, DUI and endangerment of child under 14 (DUI).

• Tommy Quinton Harshaw, 31, 103 Barnhart Circle, Fort Oglethorpe, was charged Friday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with possession and use of a drug-related object, possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana, open container violation and public drunkenness.

• James Douglas Rice, 37, 2590 Highway 52 South, Chatsworth, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated stalking, burglary and criminal trespass.

• Brian Paul Brewer, 42, 1602 Shiloh Road, Mantachie, Miss., was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with open container violation, DUI, failure to maintain lane and driving while license is suspended or revoked.

• Letecia Marie Olvera, 23, 1600 Waring Road No. 9, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI and improper turn.

• Alex Blake Roper, 17, 344 Mary Sue Drive, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by taking, possession of methamphetamine and possession of a Schedule 4 drug.
