Candidate Handel in Murray on Saturday
The public is invited to attend a reception Saturday in support of Karen Handel, Republican candidate for governor. The event is at the Vernon Foster Estate, 218 Sugar Hollow Road, Chatsworth, from 5 to 7 p.m. The estate is south of Chatsworth, off U.S. Highway 411 near Ramhurst
Handel, the current secretary of state, will receive the public in an informal setting on this Indian summer evening.
“Karen wants to get with the folks in the area and talk about what she’s going to do as governor and her plans for the future of the state,” Marty Ryall, Handel’s campaign manager, said. “She’ll talk about why she believes she’s the most qualified candidate to be governor. She has a broad range of experience — executive, business and political.”
Dinner will be served and contributions are welcomed.
Event hosts include Belma Foster, Andy and Sonja Foster, Gary and Kim Crews, Joe Hensley, Jeff Holcomb, Don Hutelin, Commissioner J.C. and Martha Sue Sanford, Brad Scott, Mike Teresinki and Jit Vaitha.
