Area Arrests

• Joshua Cody Bowen, 18, 254 Mount Carmel Church Road, Chatsworth, was charged Tuesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with driving while unlicensed, no insurance, DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• Heather Loraine Harness, 20, 2278 Riverbend Road, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by conversion of business property.

• Holly Amanda Hatten, 27, 132 Citrus Lane, Alma, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with first degree forgery and financial identity fraud.

• Jose A. Moreno-Hurtado, 18, 408 Lesley Drive, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with burglary and criminal street gang activity.

• Kevin Eugene Wells, 54, 706 Crawford Circle, Sparta, Tenn., was charged Tuesday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, failure to maintain lane and headlights violation.

• Kenneth Anthony Hoyt, 40, 4301 N.E. 14th Terrace, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by taking auto.
