Area Arrests

• Avery Tyrone Branham, 34, 202 Bogle St., Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession to distribute cocaine, child support arrest order and possession or manufacturing a controlled substance near a park or housing project.

• James Holland Snipes, 48, 6174 Wandering Cross Way, North Cross, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with deposit account fraud.

• William Reed West, 40, 808 Cascade Drive, 77, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with open container, DUI and tail lights violation.

• Kevin Cornelius Wilkey, 41, 943 New Town Loop, Calhoun, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated assault and probation violation.

• Jose Eduardo Arevalos, 18, 625 Fourth Ave., Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by shoplifting, obstruction, criminal trespass of property without permission, criminal street gang activity, fleeing or attempting to elude police, running red light, driving too fast for conditions, driving without a valid license and improper parking.

• Diem My Dinh, 20, no address listed, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with criminal street gang activity and requiring or permitting unlawful operation of a vehicle.

• Donnye Larue Ford, 27, 3201 Satcher Road, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of tools for commission of crime, probation violation and sale or intent to sell marijuana.

• Eric Ray Howell Jr., 33, 159 Parkmart Court, Dallas, Ga., was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, failure to maintain lane and following too closely.

• Francisco Elias Juan, 17, 203 N. Fredrick St., Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by shoplifting, willful obstruction of law officers, criminal trespass of property without permission and criminal street gang activity.

• Whitney Nicole McClure, 22, 3201 Satcher Road, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of tools for commission of crime and sale or intent to sell marijuana.

• Jeremy Ray Pendergrass, 21, 108 Kids Drive, LaFayette, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, no proof of insurance, running red light and use of license plate to conceal identity of vehicle.
