Area Arrests

• Carl William Brackett, 43, 2833-A Chattanooga Road, Rocky Face, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with sale of methamphetamine and driving while license suspended.

• Dustin Aaron Brock, 27, 3880 Airport Road S.E., Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by taking (two counts), giving false name, first degree forgery, driving while license suspended, open container violation, financial transaction card theft and financial transaction card fraud.

• Brenda Gail Cain, 46, 712 W. Tyler St., Dalton, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of cocaine.

• Jeffery Wayne Holcomb, 29, 1351 Haley Drive, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, following too closely and speeding.

• Cameron Levan Patterson, 27, 225 Robb Brook Road, Crandall, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with felony entering an auto and theft by taking.

• Juan Carlos Pellecer-Martinez, 28, 1312 Liberty Drive, Dalton, was placed on an Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE) hold on Monday.
