Mary Elizabeth Helton

Mary Elizabeth Helton, 83, of Rocky Face, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, John D. Keith; second husband, T.J. ‘Joe’ Helton; and son, Jackie Keith.

She was a member of Lindsey Memorial Baptist Church for 42 years.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Judy and Terry Connaster and Wanda Holcomb, all of Rocky Face; several sisters and brothers; grandchildren, Melissa Hagin, Amy Bond, Jimmy Keith, Tracey Klarner, Michael Keith and Danielle Keith; great-grandchildren, Carson and Nicklaus Hagin, Reece and Leigha Jones and several others including great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews also survive.

Services are Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Gribble officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m.
