James ‘Ed’ Kendrick

James “Ed” Kendrick, 81, of Rocky Face, passed away Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, A.C. and Ethel Kendrick.

Survivors include a daughter, Rachel Kendrick of Rocky Face; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Wayne and Janice Kendrick of Rock Springs and Ray Kendrick of Villanow; a sister, Ruth Richardson of Tiffonia; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A graveside service is Saturday at 3 p.m. at Dunnagan Cemetery with the Rev. Clyde Painter officiating.

A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Phyllis Bearden Saturday from noon until 2:30 p.m.
