Walkin' Jim Stoltz to perform in Rome

Renowned wilderness walker and folk musician Walkin’ Jim Stoltz comes to Rome on Saturday Nov. 14 to perform his “Forever Wild” concert—an award-winning, multi-media celebration of nature that combines Stoltz’ inspiring photographs with his original folk-style songs from 27,000 miles of walking through America's last wild places. This performance is more than a concert. The stunning photography, stories, and songs make it a moving visit into our nation’s remaining natural areas.

The concert to benefit the Coosa River Basin Initiative will be held at the Berry College Chapel on the campus of Berry College.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for students age 6-18. Free admission to children under 6 and Berry College students. Tickets may be purchased at www.coosa.org or at Blue Sky Outfitter, Cycle Therapy, Cedar Creek Park, Pullen’s Ordinary Bicycles, Bob’s Cycle Shop and CRBI. The event is presented by Lansource, Coosa Diagnostic Center and the Coosa River Basin Initiative.

The music, which will thrill and inspire young and old, begins at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Berry College Chapel.
