The Atlanta Braves have several promotions and special activities going on during their upcoming homestand at Turner Field on June 22-July 2:
— June 22: Chicago Cubs vs. Atlanta Braves, 7:10 p.m. (Makeup game for June 4 rainout)
All Stars Among Us: In a pregame presentation, three local hometown heroes will be honored for their great works in the community.
Fans can now log on to PeopleAllStars.com through June 24 to vote for their favorite community “All-Star.”
One local finalist will be flown to St. Louis to take part in the All-Star Game festivities, and the overall winner from all 30 MLB cities will be featured in PEOPLE the week of the All-Star Game.

Tickets are still available, but fans are encouraged to order in advance at braves.com to avoid any waiting on game day.
All Turner Field parking lots will be permit only, meaning if fans don’t have a permit for a Turner Field lot, they will be turned away. Fans can pre-purchase parking at braves.com/parking, but once it is sold out, no spaces will be available. Fans who have not pre-purchased parking are strongly encouraged to take MARTA.
Fans who have tickets at will call can come anytime the week of June 22 to pick them up. The ticket office will be open at 8:30 a.m. on June 23-26 and 9 a.m. on June 27-28.

Braves Band of the Year Competition: Show Dog Nashville Recording Artists, Trailer Choir, will perform live in Fan Plaza during pregame entertainment. Signed to country artist Toby Keith’s label, this group has already hit the music world in a big way with their great music and energetic entertainment. Fans will also have the opportunity to check out the Heavy Hitters, meet the Tomahawk Team, have their picture taken with Homer and listen to classic baseball tunes with the Dixieland Jazz Band Hotlanta.

Braves Cinch Bag Giveaway Presented by Delta Airlines: The first 45,000 fans at Turner Field will receive an Atlanta Braves cinch bag courtesy of Delta Airlines.

Braves Band of the Year Competition: The Breakdown will perform live in Fan Plaza during pregame and postgame entertainment. Winners of the 2007 Battle of the Bands, this passionate foursome has a distinct yet versatile sound that will keep fans entertained. Fans will also have the opportunity to check out the Heavy Hitters, meet the Tomahawk Team, have their picture taken with Homer and listen to classic baseball tunes with the Dixieland Jazz Band Hotlanta.

The Home Depot Mystery Gift Cards Giveaway: The first 15,000 fans will receive a gift card ranging in value from $1 to a possible $1,000 courtesy of The Home Depot.
Braves Band of the Year Competition: Singer/Songwriter Brad Cox will perform live in Fan Plaza during pregame entertainment. This Grayson resident has a style that's rocking and melodic while containing an unmistakable, down-home vibe. Fans will also have the opportunity to check out the Heavy Hitters, meet the Tomahawk Team, have their picture taken with Homer and listen to classic baseball tunes with Dixieland Jazz Band Hotlanta.
Publix Tailgating Zone: Located in the Green Lot every Friday and Saturday for Braves home games, fans can set up a Braves/Publix themed tailgate for a chance to win a $250 Publix gift card and be the Tailgater of the Game featured on BravesVision. Tailgaters will receive Publix/Braves premium items and the opportunity to sample select Publix products.
Publix Friday Night Fireworks: Enjoy a fireworks show after the game and after every Friday night home game in 2009.

Braves Band of the Year Competition: Country artists South 70 will perform live in Fan Plaza during pregame and postgame entertainment. After sharing stages with Gretchen Wilson, Styx, Miranda Lambert and REO Speedwagon, South 70 is combining the grit and authenticity of 70’s Southern rock with the energy and modern spin of today’s country music. Fans will also have the opportunity to check out the Heavy Hitters, meet the Tomahawk Team, have their picture taken with Homer and listen to classic baseball tunes with Dixieland Jazz Band Hotlanta.
Braves Rally Flag Giveaway Presented by NAPA: The first 45,000 fans at Turner Field will receive an Atlanta Braves rally flag courtesy of NAPA.
— June 28: Boston Red Sox vs. Atlanta Braves, 1:35 p.m. (Gates open early at 10:30 a.m.)
Braves Band of the Year Competition: Beatles cover band The Return will perform live in Fan Plaza during pregame and postgame entertainment. Known around the country as one of the best Beatles cover bands, they will take fans back to a great era of music with a legendary sound. Fans will also have the opportunity to check out the Heavy Hitters, meet the Tomahawk Team, have their picture taken with Homer and listen to classic baseball tunes with Dixieland Jazz Band Hotlanta.
All-Star Sundays: Every Sunday at Turner Field is an All-Star Sunday, featuring alumni autograph sessions in Fan Plaza before the game and Kids Run the Bases immediately following the game. Braves alumni Pete Smith and Jim Nash will sign autographs in Fan Plaza from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by a Q & A session with fans.

Heroes for Hunger Autograph Signing: Tommy Hanson will sign autographs in Monument Grove from 5:30-6:45pm. To benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank, fans must bring 20 canned goods or a $20 donation for one autograph and 40 canned goods or a $40 donation for the maximum two autographs.
Coca-Cola Two-For-One Tuesdays: Two upper reserved tickets for the price of one ($8).
— July 1: Philadelphia Phillies vs. Atlanta Braves, 7:10 p.m.
Braves Wives Toy Drive: Braves wives will collect new and unwrapped toys in Monument Grove from gates opening at 4:30 p.m. until the end of the first inning. The toys will be distributed to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta locations during the Braves’ annual “Christmas in July” hospital visits. Fans who donate a toy with a minimum value of $10 will receive a special Braves autographed item (maximum two autographed items per family while supplies last).
Two-for-One Wednesdays: Two field/terrace pavilion tickets for the price of one ($22).

Shop with the Braves: Braves players will greet fans and participate in store activities including bagging groceries, assisting with deli customers and helping prepare Publix Aprons samples at the Peachtree City Publix from noon until 1:30 p.m. Fans will have the opportunity to donate canned goods to the Atlanta Community Food Bank and receive autographs from the participating Braves players.

Independence Day Celebration with a Fireworks Spectacular: Independence Day celebrations at Turner Field will honor members of the United States military and their families and feature a giant flag on the field held by volunteers from Operation Homefront, an organization that supports families of those serving overseas. A post-game “Publix Fireworks Spectacular” will feature a dazzling display of pyrotechnics, choreographed to patriotic music, that will light up the Atlanta skyline in red, white and blue.
