All Whitfield County, City of Dalton offices closed Friday

All Whitfield County offices, including the courthouse, and City of Dalton offices will be closed tomorrow due to slick roads caused by the snow and ice event tonight.

A press release from Whitfield County states: "The Whitfield County Board of Commissioners has made the decision to close county business offices for Friday due to the weather. Essential personnel are to report on time. The county expects to be back in normal operation by 5 p.m. Friday."
