Whitifleld County GOP mass precinct meeting

The Whitfield County Republican Party will hold a mass precinct meeting at 10 a.m. in the board of commissioners meeting room at 214 W. King St. in Dalton.

Girl Scout sign-ups

Murray County Girl Scouts are having sign-ups for girls who would like to become Girl Scouts at the Murray chapter of the American Red Cross from 9 a.m. to noon. They ask community members to drop by to donate nonperishable food items during this time to help replenish the Red Cross Food Bank.
Girls who wish to register must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Adult volunteers are needed to lead troops and assist with troops. The annual registration fee is $10 and financial assistance is available upon request.
The Red Cross chapter is at 211 W. Fort St. in Chatsworth.
