The Chattanooga Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society cordially invites everyone to a celebration of life highlighting National Cancer Survivors Day on Saturday, June 6, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Brainerd Crossroads on 4011 Austin Street.
The event is free to cancer survivors and additional guests are $10 per person. Reservations are requested by calling 1-800-242-5662. The Oncology Nursing Society is pleased to feature the Cancer Queens of Nashville, Tenn., a cancer prevention musical review, to commemorate National Cancer Survivors Day.
“Come learn how surviving cancer is an attitude about life and living each day to the fullest,” says Nancy M. Joles, Oncology Nursing Society Chattanooga chapter president. “You will find our community’s National Cancer Survivors Day event filled with joy, camaraderie, hope, compassion, faith and love as we honor cancer survivors for their strength and courage. We will also recognize the contributions of their families, friends and health care providers and discuss the issues of cancer survivorship.”
