Memorial has new Web site

Submitted by Memorial Health Care System

CHATTANOOGA — Memorial’s newly designed Web site — www.memorial.org — opens today, April 29, 2009, with color, personality and dynamic features that make navigation easy and fun.

“On every page, our new brand advanced medicine inspired by you is evident, highlighting our spiritual values and the promise of excellence we make to those who are choosing a hospital,” says Lisa McCluskey, vice president of Marketing Communications. “It does not look or feel like a traditional hospital Web site. Our goal is to engage the community in a conversation about wellness - providing information to help you renew, refresh and embrace health.”

The sliding vertical blinds open to engaging photos, important information, and interactive features that will be ever changing. Glimpses of the Chattanooga are included throughout reinforcing our location and our pride in our community.

Streaming video and audio. Visitors will be able to download podcasts and vodcasts featuring our physicians and clinical staff.

CaringBridge. Patients can create a personalized Web site to keep loved ones anywhere in the world informed during their hospital stay and beyond. Family members and friends can write messages of support and inspiration.
