Bledsoe named shareholder in law firm
Jonathan L. Bledsoe became a shareholder in the law firm of Minor, Bell & Neal effective Jan. 1. Bledsoe joined the firm as an associate in 2002.
He is active in the Dalton-Whitfield community as a member of the Dalton Rotary Club, the Dalton-Whitfield Chamber of Commerce legislative action committee, First Baptist Church of Dalton and the board of directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Georgia Mountains.
Bledsoe is also a 2004 graduate of the Leadership Dalton-Whitfield Program. Additionally, he is a member of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association, the Defense Research Institute and the Lawyer’s Club of Atlanta.
A 1999 graduate of Mercer University in Macon, Bledsoe earned a bachelor of arts degree in political science with a minor in business administration. He then earned his juris doctor degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 2002 and was admitted to practice law that same year. Bledsoe maintains a general litigation practice with a special concentration in business litigation and medical malpractice defense. He is married to the former Ginny Boyett of Dalton. They have one daughter, Millie, and reside in Dalton.
Minor, Bell & Neal has offices in Dalton and Ft. Oglethorpe. While the firm provides a broad range of legal services for a variety of individual and business clients, the firm concentrates in the areas of general business clients, corporations, partnerships, commercial transactions, real estate, litigation (business, general defense, medical malpractice defense), employment law, estate planning, probate and estate administration, government, public utility and health care. The firm has 18 attorneys, three of whom are also licensed in Tennessee.
