� The Trinity Aires will be the special guests on Sunday at 11 a.m. at Gospel Tabernacle in Dalton.
The church is on Lucille Drive. Pastor George Witt welcomes everyone.
� Holy Gospel Tabernacle will have a spaghetti plate sale on Friday beginning at 10 a.m. Plates are $6 each, and delivery is available for up to 10 plates.

� The Cross Roc motorcycle ministry of Trinity United Methodist Church will host Bike Night today at the church. A blessing of the bikes will be at 2:45 p.m. followed by a 100-mile ride at 3 p.m. Dinner will be served from 6 to 9 p.m.
There is no charge, but the church is accepting non-perishable food and donations to support DOC-UP and local food pantries. DOC-UP assists needy clients with food, rent, prescription drugs and utilities. Door prizes will be given away.

� East Side Baptist Church will have fall revival Oct. 12-15 with the Rev. Jim Boyd, pastor of Briarwood Baptist Church, as guest evangelist. Sunday services begin at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., with remaining services at 7 p.m.
Music will be under the direction of director of music ministries Danny Crawford. There will be special music each night, and the church choir will also sing. The theme is “A Time of Spiritual Renewal.”

� Liberty Baptist Church will observe Men and Women Day on Oct. 12 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The women’s worship services will be at 11 a.m. with Sister Carlo Baker Clark of Atlanta as guest speaker. Men will be in charge of the 3 p.m. service with the Rev. Calvin White of Christ Hope Baptist Church of Chattanooga bringing the message. Lunch will be served after the morning service.

� Mill Creek Baptist Church will have its regular Octoberfest Free Market today at 9 a.m. featuring used clothes, purses, shoes, furniture, lamps and more. The event will be in the chapel across the road from the church.
There will be an inflatable slide for children and special music by the Reign Song Trio and Ron and Claudia Henderson.

� Carol Newsom, Distinguished Professor of Hebrew Bible at Emory University and a member of the elite international team that is translating the Dead Sea Scrolls, will give a presentation about the scrolls and their importance to Biblical scholars and historians on Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Dalton First United Methodist fellowship hall.
A nursery will be provided for ages 4 and under.

� Dalton First Church of the Nazarene will join with 18,000 other Nazarene churches around the world on Sunday at 10 a.m. to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Church of the Nazarene.
The plan is that all 1.6 million members will hear the same sermon, celebrate with the same music and participate in the same readings in 24 time zones. Lunch will follow the service.

� Dug Gap Baptist Church will celebrate homecoming on Oct. 12 at 10:55 a.m. with Glenn Cummings as guest speaker. Lunch will be served following the service.

� Tony Nolan will be the special guest on Sunday at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. at Belmont Baptist Church in Calhoun. The evening service will have an area-wide youth rally emphasis.
Nolan has served as tour pastor and gospel communicator for the Casting Crowns Lifesong Tour and Winter Jam, which church officials called the largest Christian concert tour in America. He is the author of “Faith Fuel — A Refueling Journey.”

� Faith Baptist Church in Ringgold will be in revival Monday through Friday at 7:30 p.m. with Brother Chris Sims as guest evangelist.

The afternoon guest preacher will be Pastor Jerry Burse and the Liberty Baptist Church. Dinner will be served.
